GO BLUE for Missouri's Kids
GO BLUE to put Missouri’s kids first is a statewide child abuse prevention month campaign aimed at educating adults on what they can do to stop child abuse in their communities.
Missouri KidsFirst is a statewide network of individuals, programs and organizations committed to protecting Missouri’s Children by improving the response to child victims and ending the cycle of child abuse in our communities.
In 2007, Missouri’s Child Advocacy Centers served almost 6,000 children who were victims of abuse. Current estimates suggest that as many as 1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys will be sexually assaulted by age 18.
April is designated Child Abuse Prevention Month. Prevention efforts are the best hope for eliminating child abuse in Missouri.
